You can also just use the cutting blade (which is what I do most of the time because I don't want to change blades any more often than I have to!)
Through the SCAL software, I just select the fold lines and change the line to a dash, but those lines on a separate layer (sounds complicated but it isn't) and reduce the force so it is just barely "cutting" the score lines. It works beautifully. Just be sure to use WYSIWYG so they scoring lines stay in the same place. You would do the scoring lines first and then cut the outline. I have used this method many times.
As mentioned, you can also use the embossing tool. You can also use the engraving tool and just lower the speed. Lots of options.
