Score lines off from cut lines

Score lines off from cut lines

Postby tshiroma » October 16th, 2015, 12:46 am

I am cutting and scoring a box. I have the cut lines and score lines on different layers and am starting from the same origin point but my score lines are about 1/2" off vertically. Horizontally is fine. Can anyone help me? TIA!

Be sure you are cutting WYSIWYG so your lines don't move and adjust to the origin. Then the score lines will stay where they should. That is one of the few times I use WYSIWYG - for score lines and for writing when I want things to stay exactly as they are on the mat.

I was going to say the same as Gigi - you need to use WYSIWYG cutting rather than origin cutting.
