New Babies in our house.

New Babies in our house.

Postby Suzan » March 16th, 2015, 11:41 am

Just had to share our new babies we get on Friday. You can tell we are really settling into the rural life. They are Painted Desert/Barbados lambs. We are getting them to graze on our property. Natural gardners and soil conditioners. LOL. We are thinking of the names Abbie and Gracie. But won't decide until we see there temperment. And yes when they grow up they will look like a cross between a deer and a sheep.

Well I love living rural, hate being down in Palm Springs or palm desert, it is just too crazy. Valerie and mike went out of town over the weekend, and I went to Palm Desert and got her dogs, there is a tennis tournament going on and it took me almost half an hour to get from her house to the freeway. About 2 miles because of the traffic.

Next on the list chickens ( I have too because we got lambs lol).

I don't think it is crazy at all. There is a part of me that longs for a "simpler" life - back to basics........ I am excited for you! :)

Oh but we are still crazy. LOL. I love having animals. It can be a nuisance at times, especially if we want to go away. Getting someone to come feed and let in and out of the house (No not the lambs lol). But other than that it's amazing.
