Happy Birthday to you too Diane! I am sure it is much more enjoyable now that you are retired and not in the mad rush of Christmas deliveries with the Post Office! Enjoy! My DS's 18th birthday is Tues, Dec. 23, he will be much happier by then as he is taking his last two final exams for the semester today! ;) I expect not to be seeing him much this evening or for the next few days as he dives headlong into his XBox! :ROFLMBO: Which works - gives me time to do some things! ;)

As Diane said - Happy, Happy to all December Birthday Guys and Gals here on the forum! Hope you have a special day. My DS's birthday is "reserved" strictly for his birthday - no Christmas celebrations allowed on that particular day! (Words of wisdom I got from the 2 L&D nurses working when I delivered him who both had Christmas EVE birthdays! - Also said not to let anyone give him one gift for both or wrap his birthday gifts in Christmas paper! ;) All words I have lived by! :) )

Thanks MeFlick. I never wanted to decorate the house for Christmas until AFTER my birthday, but as I grew older, it didn't matter as much. I know as a kid it was tough having a Dec birthday, or even one or two weeks AFTER Christmas. But my Mom did try to keep my Birthday and Christmas separate until I got older.
Now that I'm retired, my Birthdays are much nicer as I can do what I want, and not have to worry about working all day.

Sherri wanted everyone to know how much she appreciates the birthday wishes. She has been unable to get on the forum because she has been working so hard and lately because she has been very sick with a respiratory issue. She will be fine but she wanted you to know that she was not ignoring the wishes, but trying hard to get better while shipping machines for Christmas. Big hugs and thanks from Sherri!
