Grammar Check

Grammar Check

Postby Sassycutter » August 2nd, 2014, 10:30 pm

I want to use the phrase "From the (name) Kitchen". The surname Johnson is singular. I want to make Johnson a plural possessive. So shouldn't it be Johnsons' ? My English grammar needs a review!! :hide:

Yes - with the plural possessive as Johnsons' you are essentially saying "from the kitchen of the Johnsons"....... so you have it right! :) No need to hide - you got it! :)
