Hi Jan,
Can you try again, maybe after rebooting the computer? Re-download and then try the installation again

Okay, I did reboot my computer and it then let me install, of course I had to fight for an hour or so with my wireless USB adapter before I could get back on line (don't ever replace a NIC card with one of these!) and I finally cut something today and it worked perfectly. I hope it continues to but I will be more careful about downloading upgrades in the future. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Ok...May I ask a question..........I've decided I want to start using SCAL more....have been using exclusively Inkscape/Signcut......but am thrilled over SCAL partnering up with Sizzix and now knowing Dawn is working closely with Brandon is just icing on the cake.......Am I right in assuming we can't YET do the print and cut with our Black Cats and SCAL3????? And if that is in fact true....don't laugh at me.....but is it basically a knife point cut we need to figure on doing when using SCAL3??? LOL It's truly been since I've owned my Crapcut since I used SCAL and I loved the program back then!!!

I don't think you can pnc with SCAL I haven't used it forever, I love my signcut, and use it almost all the time.

Hi Penny!

Right now, there is no true knife point or print and cut with SCAL - just WYSIWYG where you set the laser 1.5 inches from the right side.

I did read on here that they are working on PnC. So far it is very accurate so maybe it is very close.

I have to set my laser at 2" from the right in scal 3, not 1 1/2". Not sure why mine is different, but that is the measurement that allows for a full page cut for me with my lynx

I think that works, I can't remember though for sure, I am sorry, I know it is different than MTC. I am actually going to start playing with SCAL again.
