LAST DAY!!!!!!!!!! Join us for the Christmas in July Crop

Postby CaseysAngel » June 18th, 2011, 12:25 am

Hi Everyone,

I want to "officially announce" the Christmas In July Crop. It will be held July 8th- July 25th Right here on the Black Cat forum. It will begin at 6 p.m. Central time on Friday July 8th and it will end on Monday July 25th at 10 p.m Central time (that would be Christy time :) ) . All Challenges will be posted in the Christmas Crop at 6 p.m. which can be found here http://blackcatus.com/viewforum.php?f=36 . Please know that ALL cutters and ALL software are welcome to join in here at the Black Cat forum. We welcome all!!!!!

We have started a supply list for the challenges and you can find that here http://blackcatus.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=538 . We will be adding to it as the other hostesses get their challenges together.

I want to thank EVERYONE that has offered to help with this crop. We are looking at around 30-35 Challenges and have about as many prizes!!!!!! I am so excited for this crop you guys and I hope that you are to!!!!!!

If you have any questions please feel free to email, pm, or post and ask. I will answer everything I can for you all. If you have never joined a cybercrop before it's EASY. Basically we post a BUNCH of challenges for different projects and techniques that you can try. Once you do a challenge you simply post a picture of that project on in the proper challenge thread. You get one point for every challenge you do. At the end of the crop we will compile the list and then we use a random number generator and someone who did NOT participate in the crop will choose the winners. It's just that simple!!!!!

We have got an overwhelming response for prizes to be donated and challenge hostesses for this Crop. I want to take a moment to announce them. This years Christmas in July crop challenges and/or prizes are being sponsored by:

That would be so cool or hey Gigi let's crash a wedding. I'll drive What we could do it in a couple of days. Heck will bring Valerie so she can drive, and her car gets great gas mileage. :ROFLMBO: :hide:

Ok now wait just one minute Ms. Lisa!!! (oh that DOES sound like a Mom!!) I may be older than both of you, but I am not THAT much older (I hope!) :ROFLMBO:

And you aren't adopted yet so watch it! :whip:

What I was REALLY trying to do was have some fun myself but didn't want to be accused of enabling Suzan!!

Oh you ARE a troublemaker!! :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:

Okay - I have to ask - cause' I got so confused??? (need a smiling scratching head.) You are going to assign challenges to signees? I thought in most crops you try to do them all and just keep working till you did. Do you do it differently?

Besides - my challenge, you need paper, software (I am doing inkscape) and your cutter! LOL How easy is that.
