I have been reading your tuts and they are awesome!!! The Submarine is really cool too! One quick question; can I just sign up with my email and not word press? I don't know who can all see it but don't want my email out there; I have had some people emailing me stuff and not sure if they can see the emblem it generated(I am assuming to my email address). It has not been emails that I want; kind of like soliciting for let's get together stuff and I ain't into that(they aren't wanting to have coffee). Might not have any bearing on it either; just don't know.
Also, went to your other suggested sites and wow; impressive there too!

This is awesome. I have paint shop pro 13 or something like that. I am going to try to do this in that program. Is there a way to do this in inkscape. It is such a powerful program?

Inkscape tutorial is scheduled. I think everybody will really enjoy it. It will be step by step instructions just like the Photoshop Elements tutorial. Since Inkscape is free, I thought it would be more beneficial for everyone to demonstrate with it.

Are you talking about corel paintshop pro X3? I have that too but was using it last night and closed down on me. Do you have that problem with it? Just curious because it has done it a couple of times on me now. Aggravating! :banghead:

meme - I do have that program. it was not opening for me for a while and got an e-mail back from Corel - all I had to do is rename a folder - and it worked. E-mail them and ask. Or, it might have been on a community forum?

I love that program. I've had it since before Corel. Some of the changes they made did not make it better, but for what I could afford, it has done a great job. I'm just thinking Inkscape may do some of the same things - but the terminology is different and i don't know how to compare it.

Well, the final tutorial on how I make my Paper Portraits is now up on my blog. Let me know if anybody creates their own. I would love to see your creations.

Also, this week's freebie file is a portrait of Edgar Allan Poe!
