Repositionable Spray?

I just tape off the edges with painter's tape, although I'm not sure why because the rollers roll over the middle and pick up the glue anyway, they don't even touch the sides. Is this a logical theory or not? LOL.

Good point about the taping Phyllis...........lol!

Phyllis, Because of the location of the pinch wheels on the cougars, I don't think it really matters if you tape the edges of the mats or not. I think if you were still using the Cricuts, with their wheels on the sides of the mat, it might be a different matter. But I will just put the mat where I won't get over spray on anything important, and just give it a light coating, and not worry about the edges... less work that way... LOL

If you are worried about the wheels, put some painters tape around them, then they won't get gunky.

I just spray the whole thing...I don't worry about the edges.... :hide: then again, I usually end up getting my hand in the process cause I spray them while holding them up :ROFLMBO:

Good point Phyllis - guess it's the hold over from the E - had to be careful not to get glue on the edges with that machine.

I sprayed one this week and forgot to tape it off and that's when I figured it didn't matter with the Cougar, but up until then I was still taping off the sides out of habit.

Suzan, will the wheels still pull the mat through as good?

the wheels are super easy to clean - I already put a note in the webinar thread to show how to easily clean them in the next one.

It literally takes like a minute to clean all 3 of them, and you don't need to take anything apart.

They should painters tape has just the most microscopic littlest almost not noticeable texture to it. It might actually help pull thru a little better. Not that it doesn't pull thru great now.

Hi Tyler,
I have been on this forum only a week so I am unfamiliar with the webinar schedule. I too, need a good method for cleaning pinch wheels. When is the next webinar?

Thanks for all your help!

There really isn't a webinar schedule -- there aren't enough questions to do them that often. But I am going to try and play just a brief one for tuesday, August 2 7:30 PM EST.
