Using Heat and Bond

Using Heat and Bond

Postby thecorthouse » September 15th, 2015, 3:23 pm

I am a new owner of the SB24 and am using it to make appliqués. Has anyone used Heat and Bond adhered to cotton fabric with success? Do you leave the Heat and Bond paper backing on for the cutting process? Or remove first?
Thanks so much!

There are quite a few threads throughout about using a fusible interfacing and fabric. Some have had better results with liquid starch (see posts from pigtailpat). You can see examples of fabric cutting at http://www.silverbulletcutters.com.

Jo from Australia has a video using contact paper to cut felt and other materials.

I don't remember that product exactly being used (sure it has) but you can search for it and see if there are related posts. Here is one for starters
