Cutting tooling leather

Cutting tooling leather

Postby vchmiele » February 22nd, 2015, 4:06 am

I am attempting to cut thin tooling leather (2-3 oz. kid skin). This is about 1mm thick.

Any advice for what type of blade to use? Force, speed etc...

Also, I want to try embossing as well.

Any info would be helpful, Thanks!

If you do a search on the forum for cutting or embossing leather you will find a lot of input.

Here is one to get you started. viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5175&p=89819&hilit=embossing+leather#p89819
