HELP! Me and My Silver Bullet are STILL NOT FRIENDS!

So, a while back I posted about sending things to my SB and it feeding all the way to the end of the vinyl before beginning to cut.
I never really figured that mess out...just learned to ADJUST and deal with it.
WELL, NOW...I cannot even send things to the SB from the computer/SCAL.
Not quite sure what I am doing wrong.
I REALLY WANT TO BE FRIENDS with this thing...and I really am computer and cutter savvy...it just does not seem to be showing at the moment.

Have you done a machine reset? Have you checked all of your cords to be sure they are connected? (happened to me just yesterday!) Have you checked your device manager to be sure the port is showing and that you have the proper port selected in the program? Are you getting an error message - like Silver Bullet cutter not found?

Just a few questions for starters, but I am guessing, since it was working, that you might have a loose connection. I always hope for an easy fix first

YES!!! Gigi...I have done allll of that. It even says...sending to cutter and acts like it did. But nothing happens.

Try a factory reset on the cutter

Did you check device manager and everything appears to be ok? No yellow exclamation points anywhere? Are you sure the machine is online? (been there, done that!)

Have you reinstalling SCAL? Trying to think of all that I can without actually "seeing" it.......

Check the settings on the cutter's menu.
It should read Us 800mm & BR 38400

Let me know if this is correct or needed changing and then we will go to the next step - one at a time until we get it figured out.

Also how are you connecting, usb or are you using a keyspan adapter. My keyspan went wonky on me this past month. Well it is 6 years old. But once I connected directly with my usb cable. It cuts really great again. And I was having the same issues.

Make sure you have the most recent scal upgrade also.
