New Click Blade Holder How Do I adjust blade

Postby kim » December 13th, 2011, 10:39 am

I have Sara's click blade holder and it is one of the new ones. The blade is just sticking out too far. I have the hex tool thingie and loosened the screw but how do I get the blade to go into the holder more?

When you loosen the outer screw, then you need to take a flathead screwdriver and turn the screw in the top of the blade holder - that will help you adjust the blade where you want/need it to be.

There are others who have explained it much better -hope that makes some sense. Holler if it doesn't!

When the plunger is pressed all the way down, it exposes a slot for the flathead screwdriver.
Turn anti-clockwise to retract the blade

Got it!! THANKS....I did the little screw and just couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. I adjusted the blade and it is perfect or at least looks perfect to me. Will try cutting with it tomorrow. We shredded up some vinyl yesterday trying to use it as it was. I knew the blade was out to far!

Maybe while getting used to hers and getting the settings correct, I'll get used to the click blade holder rather than the regular one.
