Blue Click Holder - Not clicking

I am slowly working through the learning curve on my NEW Black Cat
and I have managed to do a "print and cut" with my original art and have it register perfectly.
But the blade dragged across the cut out section. So I decided to get out the nifty click cut holder.
Because I assumed that the blade was too deep and I would have more control over it.

Now I have a larger problem... the click holder does not click past 2 (and the little hex nut.)
I have tired to loosen the hex nut and twist the holder but it still just stops dead in it's tracks.
Any suggestions on how to get it to turn? Without disassembling (I know you advise against this)
