Problems Cutting

Hi, I have the 12" SB and I am trying to cut out an 11x10 shape, however when I try to cut the machine stops and goes into pause when he gets to the far right of the machine. I assume it is doing this because the design is outside the perimeters of the machines cut dimensions. Which I don't understand because it is only 11x10. Help please!!!
