Score lines

Is there a way to make score line using SCAL 3? I mean score lines that are like what the new Sizzix cutter does, that is reduces the pressure and will only cut the surface of the paper and not all the way through. This way you get clean fold lines and not the preforation little dash lines.

What I do is on a seperate layer put in what would be my score lines, then when I cut lower my force and cut them first, then raise the force to cut the rest. I think it works great.
