I've just gotten in to copics and I love them...easy to use...lots and lots of youtube tutorials (I'm a visual kind of gal so that works...) as a matter of fact I'm leaving in an hour to pick up some more in the States that I've ordered from oozak.com the price there is $4.15, I would order from carpediem but they don't take Canadian CC's so that's that....

FYI price is going up August first....

I use the sketch...my sister got me started on them...I hope to highlight fabric designs in my quilting projects...

Okay when is this retreat? I've got to plan and save people....hehehe :D

oh yeah I love my Copics and bought 13 this week while I was in Paducah got to love HL coupons!!! I'm a certified Copics teacher and I love to show people how to use them. Tyldre if you can get them for 4.50 or less I would definitly by them from you!!! Yes Tyler you can take color off of things with the blender. Also you can take a piece of material such as denim and cover it with the blender and put it over something say a pair of jeans that have been colored with blue and it will leave the denim print into the blue. It's great!! I love the colors because you can color anything!!! Plus you can airbrush with them. I believe Penny uses a lot of them with her flowers, so maybe she can tell you how she does that since I'm just begininning on the flowers.

As in around November?? Please not late October - that is when the kids are getting married. OMG - that would be SO much fun!! And I understand that you will have to do it when you do it - as you can't work around everyone's schedule - just hoping!

Oh wow Dawn, that would be very cool! I don't remember where Sherri lives but I am way out west so it probably is too far for me. :(

Sherri is in Minnesota - and I am in So CA so it's really too far for me too as I don't fly well (physical issues), but I am going to try to see if I can manage it as I think it would be so wonderful.........if nothing else it's a great dream.

Oh Suzan - you are so sweet. I don't know either since we don't even have a date. But just thinking about it makes me smile , especially tonight......

Thank you for your kindness. Hopefully we can both work it out!

Well it is kinda of a far shot for me right now. We are looking to buy a house and I am trying hard to be very good about spending, then of course there is work. But if I can I will. Just think of the trouble we can cause. Shhhhhh don't tell Dawn or Sherri though.

I know we need a 51st state that is for crafters only. I hate that we live so far from everyone.

Well I am willing to move to a craft friendly state :) Oh what did I say??!!?? I swore I would NEVER move again.

Hey, let's all retire somewhere and just craft the days away - like that idea!

And Lisa - I have never been to GA - would LOVE to see it :) :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: Nothing like inviting myself!! :ROFLMBO:

I love that idea Gigi.. of retiring and just spend the time crafting... in fact that is exactly what I plan to do, but it will probably be a few more years yet before I can retire... that is why I'm buying all my supplies now.... stocking up for the future... LOL
