My keyboard is wireless, does that have anything to do with it not connecting to move the laser over the dots in PNC? I can move it with the onboard arrows but it is difficult to get it aligned well from there.

No. I have a wireless keyboard and use it for print and cut. Be sure the arrow light isn't stuck on one of the arrows as that will prevent the keyboard from moving the machine, but the wireless keyboard itself is not a problem.
