Dust Cover

Dust Cover

Postby kcjb » February 1st, 2021, 11:35 pm

Hello. I am looking for a dust cover for my 24" Pro. No matter how much I use it, dust just seems attracted to it! I've spent countless hours researching covers for large-carriage printers or cutters but most cover suppliers list them by printer model number and not size. So far, I have not been able to find a cover that fits my machine.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I have a 18" Silver Bullet but had the same problem finding a decent cover. I ended up buying a bag for a tent and found one on ebay with handles - its great. fits a treat and the handles make it great for moving around. Don't look for a bag specifically for the S.B but look for a bag to take anything big. Hope this helps

I use ScotchBlue Pre-Taped Painter's Plastic. https://youtu.be/FvpL6dB1wxk

The plastic sheet is very static and once placed on the machine it molds around it and no dust gets in anymore. When I use the machine I remove it and stick it on the nearby wall and when I am done using the machine I put it back on. I hope this helps.
