Ways to help with the Coronavirus using the SB

To all of you using the Silver Bullet Cutter to cut face masks or shields for healthcare professionals .. PLEASE know that they are processing orders every day! This can be considered an essential business open to ship mats, blades and machines to people helping with the Coronavirus pandemic. ALSO please pass the word that they have a number of people doing this both as volunteer work and for many who lost their jobs and are looking for a way to make an income from home. IF it is mandated that we all need to wear masks when we leave home, there will be a real shortage of them so Sherri thinks it would be good to get a start on them now. Sherri has had a number of calls asking if her machines will cut the plastic for face shields and YES they will! You must turn down the speed a bit because the blade running thru acetate that fast will wear it down quicker. These machines can create a lot of face shields in a relatively short period of time. She has people BEGGING for a pattern or for a place to source the plastic for the shields (acetate is fine for non-medical personnel) or fabric materials for the masks. IF anyone is willing to share that information PLEASE help us all out and post it or send it to Sherri at info@silverbulletcutters.com and she will pass it on. It DOES NOT have to be medical grade in either the plastic or the material if not being used in a hospital setting. Also, something is better than nothing which is what some people have. People are also begging for the masks even if they are working in a nursing home or residential treatment center or assisted living situation. So MANY people in need! Help if you can! Thank you.
