I just purchased a second lynx, used, and it came with a long blade, which I have never used. I would like to try it out. Are there any instructions for using it? Or is it strictly trial and error?

The 60 plus degree blade? It is for cutting chipboard, stencil material -- thicker materials - and can be used in either the regular blade holder or the click blade holder.
