I have spent weeks experimenting with the force settings. It seems I have to have my force set at 180 or above for the blade to cut through the paper. I have been successful at cutting a few items but am always plagued with problems. Currently I am attempting to cut #65 cardstock (Recollections). A week ago I was successful with the same exact paper but had my force set around 180. I have no consistency and spend way to much time making test squares and not actually having fun and finishing a project due to inconsistencies with the force.
Here is a list of problem solving steps I have taken:
1) Checked, and rechecked blade depth
2) Purchased new blades (45 degree) and repeated step one.
3) Bayered the card stock to mat, repeated steps 1-3.
4) Spent hours pouring over SB cut Forum posts and information.
5) Spent hours reading blogs, watching youtube videos, and videos from the SB learning center.
6) Ordered new mats, click blade and another new blade.
7) Repeated steps 1-7
After all of this...Same result, inconsistent cuts, not cutting through the paper, tearing paper.
PLEASE NOTE: I am using the same SVG file that I have successfully cut using the force set around 190.
