Help! Machine pausing in the middle of a large cut.

I'm cutting a large file on a large piece of vinyl and the machine just stopped cutting in the middle of the cut. All the connections are secure to the black cat, and the window is just reading pause. I know if I unplug the machine, it will cancel out the cut. It's just currently sitting there. I don't want to lose the vinyl. Suggestions? Tami

The first thought that came to mind is that you have your vinyl too far over to the left in the machine. If you get the vinyl or mat too far to the left, you can go outside of the cutting range and it will pause the machine. If that is the problem, there really is no way to salvage the vinyl and cut. That is usually the only thing that I know that will cause the machine to "pause" in the middle of the cut. Also, let's just confirm if you are using SCAL or another program and what computer system you are using - is it a PC or a Mac computer?
