Hey, Everyone. I want to look at a webinar that Tyler did about creating weeding lines in SCAL3 pro, but I receive the following message- "You are not authorised to read this forum." I've been on this forum for years and now I can't access it? I'm logged in. Fondly, Tami

So I don't have to go searching for it - where is it Tami? The unauthorized part is probably about where the video is stored, not the forum but need to see it to be sure. Can you direct me to the video (since they are scattered all over!) Thank you!

I'll have to find it, Gigi, but I had this problem before with something else. For instance, when I click on Tyler's name, it says that "You are not authorised to view the member list or profiles.
This is so crazy. I used to cut vinyl ALL THE TIME. Now, I can't get my signcut to work (it keeps crashing), Inkscape won't export to Signcut, and I can't figure out how to create weeding lines in SCAL3 Pro. Sheesh. I just want to cut some vinyl and not have to hand weed it.
And, I'm typing without the use of my left index finger since I smashed in a car door yesterday. UGH! :whip:

OH OUCH on the finger.

I just saw something on creating weeding lines - let me see if I can find it . Will edit this post with the update.

And no one is authorized to view the member lists . That was changed a while ago as information had been compromised. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Will get back to you as soon as I find where I just saw something comparable. I don't think it was from Tyler but someone else......

EDIT:
So........ just using the weeding button in the pro version doesn't help enough??

Ok - there are instructions for SCAL 4 PRO, but I just tried the instruction in SCAL PRO 3 and they work - you just have to experiment a little.

And the location is different. Instead of Effects, go to Object>Weeding. Hope that helps.

No problem about the members, Gigi. I just thought that was part of a bigger problem.
Thanks for the link. You're a doll, once again!
I'll be able to check it out later!

tamihowse, you might go to signcut and update if you can. I was having problems and that happened. Also is this a new computer or the same one you have been using. I have found them really responsive even though the time difference is so big.
