Dawn.. I'll come and organize for you! You won't even have to frisk me when I leave... I love to organize. That should have been my professional job. My hubby even kicked me out of the garage because I was organizing his drill bits by size... it totally bugged me to wait for him to find the right size bit to do a wee little hole drilling. I got my own drill and bits now

Dana, you sound like me. I have my own tool set because I can't stand DH's "organizing". It takes hours to find one thing....his stuff is scattered everywhere and I don't even know where to begin looking. I've learned it is just easier to get my own set and know where everything is. Of course, when he touches my tools, it becomes his and I have to get another.....because he always ends up misplacing some of mine and I can't stand it. My dad got me a really cool set of tools and you should have seen people's faces when they heard how excited I was that my dad got me a set of TOOLS. DH was drooling.

When I got my first place my dad came over with a mason jar full of nails, screws, bolts and nuts, and a pink toolbox with tools for me. I fell in love. But I personalized them. Once when I was trying to fix something I called my dad, he came right over and asked for my hammer. I handed it to him and he looked at me and then just shook his head. I had painted pretty flowers on the handle of it!!! I still have that hammer. My hubby won't use it. LOL

Oh Dana - I so relate. If it can be sorted, labeled, alphabetized, color coordinated - I will do it! Funny about the hammer. If I could paint I might have done the same thing!!

Thanks Maxine. I have a few pictures of the inside of some of the drawers, but that really shows how obsessive I am, so decided not to "tell all"! A girl has to have some secrets - right??!!??
