First jewelry piece using my Silver Bullet!

I love my machine! I'm no longer daunted by it. I cut out all the shapes of the bead foundation and the leather backing, that are used to construct these earrings, on the Silver Bullet.

I'm itching to try cuffs and bracelets next!

Beautiful job. Nice work. Thanks for sharing your pic. I am sure others will want more "details" on the foundation and leather backing - i.e. thickness, cut settings used, etc. if you care to share them at some point.
Go Vols!

Those are just stunning, Esther. Thanks for sharing your beautiful success and letting others know that with practice, it can be done. And you succeeded in record time. Good for you. And Melanie is right - there are users who are struggling with cutting leather, so sharing your insights is always helpful.

Eager to see your next projects!

Thank you Melanie and Gigi! Fortunately I've been keeping notes as I go along.

The backing on which I embroider my work is called "Nicole's bead backing". I'm not sure I can post a commercial link here, but one can easily find the site if one looks on Google.
I used the 60 plus long blade in the click holder. Due to the added length of the blade I had to make some adjustments in the tiny allen screw as the blade was protruding a bit much. These were my settings:
Click holder = 3
Velocity 150
Force 180
Extra Passes 2
Note, I'm not 100% happy with how this cuts. The material is a thick stiffened felt and quite hard to cut. I'll be tweaking these settings a bit until I get a perfect cut, but I'm happy it works. Once I achieve the perfect settings I'll post those as well.

Leather used was a thin pig suede. A shade under 1mm in thickness.
Blade 60 plus long
Click Holder 1.5
Velocity 200
Force 110
No extra passes.

This cut really beautifully. I had a few issues in some corners, but that was only because I forgot to set the blade offset to 0.7mm. Once that is in place I'm sure it will be perfect.

Thanks for sharing, Esther. I am sure those will help others. And as you stated so well, practice is what makes all the difference. You just have to figure out what works best for you. Great job!
