This machine is unbelievable..........

Postby pigtailpat » June 19th, 2011, 2:14 pm

I cannot believe how great this thing is!!!

I did a complex filigree frame, no node editing whatsoever, it just cut and voila!

But,

I gotta go cook my fathers' day dinner!!

So I will post later on the first cuts thread. I am so wow'd I could scream!

All the parts for the card for my first cut post is ready - except everything has to dry pooo pooo. I used color box inks and with color box it takes awhile for it to dry. I did heat set it, but I would rather handle everything in the am for gluing, cuz me and glue do not "do" well together, and it would be better if I am sure about the ink drying cuz vellum is involved.

I am having such fun with this machine! I will get up extra early to assemble and post my first cut card I promise!! Just hope I don't mess up with the glue as I normally do!

Isn't it just awesome? I swear if I put it in the kitchen, it might even wash my dishes for me. It seems to do everything else.

Oh if only it could be "trained" to do dishes and laundry and all of the mundane stuff so we would have more time to craft!!

What I have noticed though is that I seem to be more motivated to get the other stuff done so I have more time to experiment, learn and create more - so I do think it has some amazing magical powers!! :D

If I leave it long enough DH will do it, but he's still in Afghanistan until the 21st...so I'll have to hire a cleaning lady before he shows up...I have about an inch of cat fluff all over the place... :ROFLMBO:

Well, I have to have a cleaning lady come in once a week to clean my house. I'm too busy picking up after DH and DS and that seems to be a full time job. I spent so much time cleaning when we got this house, DH ORDERED me to get someone to clean. Who was I to argue? So I spend a little time each day doing the little cleaining jobs and laundry, and let Marie (my cleaning lady) do the other stuff.

My house is clean, just scattered and has the "lived in" look.
