My card is finally finished - come see

My card is finally finished - come see

Postby craftylady » June 18th, 2011, 5:51 pm

For all of you that saw my other thread dealing with the fact that I needed help with cutting a particular design - I thought I would attach a copy of a photograph I have taken of the finished card.

I couldn't have done it without your help - I wanted to thank each and everyone one of you who helped me along the way. I was getting so frustrated - but I knew that I had to just persevere and with lots of help from you all - I did it :D

Thank you again, so much.

Valerie

Thank you all so much - yes I am thrilled. Not sure I will tackle this particular card in a hurray again lol - but I will keep on cutting with my cougar, because the more I practice, the better I will get.

Thanks again :D

That is a beautiful card. What adjustments did you end up having to make to get it to cut for you?

Thanks guy - I am really pleased with the result and appreciate your comments.

Elsa - I used Velocity of 165 and force of 116 - it just really worked well for this card/design. I did do the test that Retta recommended (bend the cardstock in half and put the blade across it) and if it cuts through the top layer, but doesn't touch the bottom layer, then it should work...... and it worked for me. Also I definitely did have a blade that must have been chipped or something so I put in a new blade.

Thanks guys
