Postby Tyler » June 12th, 2011, 8:17 pm

The webinar will be Thursday at 8:00 PM. Here is the link link to get in (click on the word link). If you plan on using a microphone, please be sure you have descent headphones that will prevent echo.

Please feel free to post topics that you would like to cover for this weeks Q&A webinar here! By no means am I perfect, but I will do my best! There are also a lot of very knowledgeable people that can help out too. Please keep this post free of chatter and answers. If you would like to answer a question, feel free to open a new topic! :-) I will add more to this post later as it comes up!

I use inkscape and signcut and I still need to set up for print and cut. I made some persoanl attention on that. I'm happy to learn shortcuts in both these programs. But I have MTC - just don't use it much as I didn't learn as much as I know with inkscape.

I agree with the others, a "beginner's" intro to inkscape would be FANTASTIC.

Rachellann set me up to use the KNK plug in. Do I still need to use that and what's the best for PNC? Thanks Tyler for doing this.

For print and cut you want either the KNK plugin or Signcut, both have three point registration

Webinar question. What is three point registration and how do you use it? Probably a dumb question , but do not have a clue. Thanks Gram

The 3 point registration means that it does not matter what size your printer prints, and it does not matter if your paper is cockeyed etc. It is much more accurate than other methods

Tyler you should be ok learning inkscape, there are a lot of things you will pick up term wise just from using AI. Yes we are one of the few that use it. I keep trying to learn ink, but I don't have time to devote to it right now.
