Plastic stencil material. I have been using plastic place mats fromt the clearance section of Michael's to cut stencils and masks. Would it be helpful if I measured the thickness?

granlin I think the cougar will cut whatever the silver bullet will. That is my understanding, I haven't cut most of that stuff with either of my machines but I have never tried cutting something with one that I couldn't cut with the other.

It will also engrave soap and chocolate and I know some have had success with fondant.

Dad found some kind of stuff that is in sheets. May have once been on a roll, but it is similar to craft foam but it is something most likely from the hardware store. Almost looks like something you would use to wrap pipes or something. But since it is very similar to craft foam, I know the SB will have no problem cutting it. So, the list of what the SB will cut really is never ending because there are a lot of things we just haven't tried and are not from the "craft" store, but rather the hardware store.

THX Rhonda...I had to have a general for paper or the list would have gone on and on....but keep thinking...in particular I need additional things that would be used in mfg. process...like copper foil and resistors things like that.

i know that you have listed the material, but I would mention that it cuts the masking material for glass etching/glass sandblasting.
