But she keeps my dad and me busy. Dad prints cards from one of the card making programs (mostly for the men), while she sends mine to the women. Mainly because I just don't have any that are really appropriate for the men and I am really running out of things to do with the women.
I have to agree with the above....I am slower to purchase any more "kiddie" stuff as I have a TON. I hate to spend money on rubber stamps....they take up too much room and I have to buy ink pads. I like digital that I can color to match what paper I am working with.
I do some of that, sending Get Wells and Thinking of You more than anything else. I go in spurts for Birthday, too. I have discovered that I can do a rather smallish contour cut of some vintage element, and mount it on a scalloped shape or a pinked edge (which even works for men!) and mount that whole thing onto a large piece to place on a card front. Add a smallish label with the sentiment, and it's good to go. I even do this on shaped cards. It's a fairly easy formula that I can change up several ways and colors, for variety, so people don't feel like they are getting the same card as their friend. I also keep a card log of who I send a card to, for what, and which basic design I used (colors, print name, etc.). So far, so good. (She says with fingers crossed.)
