getting to know my cougar

hi all!
my name is marti (pezadoodle on the web) and i just got a black cat cougar and am learning how to use it. so far i have been unable to get to the point of a finished project yet but i am close! i had to re-learn Make the Cut first and i have done all of the set up for my cougar but i was not able to get my first few tries at cutting to work right. i hope to get back to it tomorrow after the halloween craziness is over.

I know you will be comfortable with the machine in no time. Tyler has some great start up videos on the Learning Center and if you have specific questions about MTC, I know there are lot of people who can help. Many of us use Inkscape as an alternative as it has more flexibility (it also has more of a learning curve!) but whatever you are comfortable with is great.

Just let us know if, when and where you get stuck and someone will have the answer!
