This is not the same as "glossy" vinyl is it.

There are many types of vinyl. Basically the mat is for walls and the very shiny is exterior...and Tyler is right..you will KNOW the reflective if you see it. Then there are all the different vinyls like chalkboard vinyl, iron on, printable.....it is good to get really educated before yous tart.

I use both 12 x 12 and 8.5 x 11... it all depends on what size I can get the paper in, and what I'm doing with it. If I want to use it for a box, I want 12 x12 so I can make as large a box as possible, unless the design is "pieced" so that I can fit the pieces on more than one sheet. If I'm just cutting something out for cards, or decorations, then I don't need it very large and the smaller paper would be fine for that. Since I can't get all the paper in both sizes, I just buy what size is available and use what I need. I have bought some WorldWin paper, but haven't tried cutting it yet. But it has only been available locally in the 8.5 by 11.. so that is what I bought.

Oh Diane - you will LOVE cutting the WorldWin paper -it cuts like a dream. I have never had an issue with it and I love all of the shades of colors. It gives you lots of options!
