My mojo's disappearing fast . . .

My mojo's disappearing fast . . .

Postby whizzy » October 21st, 2011, 10:28 pm

I'm slipping into a bit of a designing slump at the moment, anybody got any ideas?
Admittedly I haven't been able to do very much in the way of cutting (waiting on new blades & stuff to be delivered) so that is proving to be frustrating.

Maybe while you are waiting for your supplies, you could browse through your files, and see if anything catches your eye. I do this sometimes when I am away from home with my laptop, and usually I end up finding something I can't wait to cut. I'll bet your mojo will come back in no time!

I know how you feel. I try to sit down and write down ideas for upcomming holidays, school, gifts, cards, kids stuff, grandparents, etc. But then again, I love to design files. Good luck!

I know the feeling but I'm blaming this cold that I picked up last week for some of mine. Can't wait to feel like myself again. Hope yours comes back soon.

I agree with Elizabeth, go thru your files. Sometimes you forget all that you have. Also, Retta has a good idea about making a list of things you want to cut. Sometimes a list will get me on track to get my projects completed.

One good thing about losing your mojo is you save money, at least that's how it is with me. I'm now on a vinyl kick and am spending more money than I thought I would. I just can't seem to get enough toys. :o

I feel the same way - have a long list of things I want to work on, should work on, but no ideas or motivation. Just feel blah :banghead:
