I just love them. We had one this summer that would come up onto my shop deck to get cool under the chairs.
We had a momma one year that had her babies in our camper shed.

Have you ever heard them scream? The first time I heard one, I thought is was in severe pain. It was just agitated by our dog, but I thought it was hurt in some way.

Nice pictures.

Wow, I didn't know what it was until you described it. I would be scared to have them around dogs. I'm afraid of the coyotes that come around here once in a while. It is a beautiful animal though.

Beanie, you're right about the Saint Bernards, but I have much smaller dogs, Maltese and Shih tsu. It has been reported around here that the coyotes have attacked and killed small dogs.

It looks like it has a dark mask on. Ours don't have that we have red and silver ones, they are gorgeous.
