Sorry - I am a couple hours north of you, not in NYC. I can say they are awesome machines!

I have a 13 inch and I live on Long Island. I am only a train ride away from the city or a 45 minute drive.

We have numerous machines in New York but not a lot of the people on the forum..maybe a good idea to take Colleen up on it or visit our learning center and watch some great videos on it!

Hi Sherri:

is there anyway to get a list of what towns the NY Cougar owners live in. It would be great to find someone by me with a machine. Thanks,

Here's the problem as I see it. It's extremely hard to let a stranger into my house - unless I know you for a long time, like I know rach, christy, etc. But if a person is looking into purchasing - of course that person will be new - so there's the catch-22. I have the 18" and let me tell you - for me it is really tough to go through all the effort of transporting that to some outside place to show that to a new buyer. I kind of doubt that users will let complete strangers into their houses for this purpose, unless the user has a 13 or 15" machine which is more easily transported. I have a small ford focus, and not much can fit in that car.

Now if sherri wants to send me a free 13", I'd be willing to show that to anyone who asks )))::::::: [Sherri just kidding here now.........]

Coleen...I am sorry I do not feel comfortable giving that information out. I have shipped seven machines to New York alone in the last week so there will be someone from New York on here but I am afraid they will all be new users and they may not feel comfortable offering to show machine they do not know themselves yet. There are a LOT of people in New York with the machines but a lot of them are also using them for business and probably not on the forum. I would offer that you keep asking here and hope someone contacts you. As soon as the paperwork is done for me it goes to my accountant to lg so I don't have some of the older customers paperwork either...I am so sorry. I know what a problem it is when you can't see it in person, every one of my customers have been where you are right now...not sure what else to do. Want to fly to Minnesota? I got a great scrap room...LOL

I have to agree with Sherri, I won't give out customers locations either. It would be wrong of us to do so.
I can only suggest posting here as you have and also look at the various videos here and in the learning centre and on YouTube

Wish I was closer! I am sure someone will surface who isn't too far away. It's fun to craft, but much more fun to share it with someone - I so understand! Good luck!

It is always more fun to craft with someone else... it isn't the same when you don't have someone to show what you just made... and my BF just doesn't have the same excitement about what I make as another crafter would have.

If you have time go thru the Where are you from post. Some there have stated where they live. I was reading the post one night and found someone very close by. I just PM'd her, and hope to meet her soon, she has invited me to a crop at a local church. Good luck, I hope you find someone near you! Valerie
