I emailed the link to a friend and she has just responded and said she loved the video but what had happened to my arms? Why had they suddenly become so hairy ? I dissolved into laughter as it had not occurred to me that anyone would think it was me doing the video.

The new files are awesome - thanks Mary and Tyler!! I am trying to figure out which of the two wedding cards I will use - love them both!!

I made two of the new cards yesterday. The first one is the Broderie Angelaise. I ran vellum through the xyron and adhered it to the inside and glittered the openings - you can't really see it but it's pretty in person.

The second one is Faintly Japanese. I used Tyler's double sided adhesive to back the cut design and covered it with the Ritz glitter. What is amazing about the adhesive (thank you Tyler) is that it is so strong that the glitter coated it beautifully. And what is different about this glitter is that it feels like suede or velvet once adhered to the adhesive - it is amazing. And no matter how hard I rub it, no glitter comes off on my fingers. I tried to capture the iridescence of the glitter in the photo.

So if you don't have the double sided adhesive from Tyler - you really need to get some and try it - I will certainly be using it for more projects. You will love it!! (and no - he didn't tell me his secret and this is NOT a ploy to get him to - although I wish I would have thought of it before now!!!! :banghead: :banghead: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: )

Thank you Mary and Tyler - again!

Thank you all for your comments. You just have to try Mary's files - they are so intricate but cut perfectly! Eager to do more playing and get the wedding card done - just 5 weeks to go!

Hi Gigi, lovely. You sound as though you had a big spend up - LOL. Tyler will be pleased :).

Mary

When I need to stick an intricate cut down I cover the inner right hand side of the card with a piece of paper and spray the back of the cut out design with 3M Photo Mount. Letraset Tac also works well. I have not seen the product that Tyler uses so I must go on a search but I doubt whether I shall find it in the UK.

Hi Gigi,

I did find some double sided adhesive sheet and have sent for some. I shall be interested to see how it cuts on the Cougar once attached to cardstock. Something new for me. It certainly would make sticking my intricate designs down quite easy. I think we lag a long way behing the US with our craft products though I have to say there has been a vast improvement in the last 4-5 years. The only trouble is that it is a £ for $ conversion :(.
