Woo hoo! Finally cut from Signcut!

Woo hoo! Finally cut from Signcut!

Postby JeannetteC » August 31st, 2011, 11:45 pm

I keep going back to my comfort level of MTC, but tonight it caused me grief with trying to cut a larger wall saying and a vinyl family, so.... I decided to tackle Signcut. After a couple botches with positioning my laser, I think I have it and the two pieces are cut and ready to be delivered. I love the weeding feature for the large piece. So much easier to be able to weed in smaller sections! Did I mention, these are also my first paid for pieces! Woo Hoo! I also printed a catalogue of images from My Vinyl Designer that I purchased and plan to leave it with my parents. They've already had many enquiries about the vinyl pieces I did for their place, so I'm hoping the catalogue will help to generate a few more orders.

I probably won't be posting much if at all from noon tomorrow until Sunday or Monday. Our schools go back Tuesday, so we are visiting with my parents this weekend. Saturday is the big day in Ohio to visit Dana and for dd to ride all the rides with her ds at Cedar Point. Can't wait to get together again!!!! :D

I hope everyone has a great Labour Day weekend!

Jeannette, Congrats on cutting from Signcut... it really is easy once you figure it all out. I love the weeding feature on it. Congrats on your 'sale' and I hope you do get lots more orders!!!!

Thanks Ladies! I definitely want to try working more with Signcut now that I've had a success. It's funny how we can be so hesitant about trying new things sometimes, lol.

Thanks Retta and Gigi! I'm sure I'll soon be asking for tips to work with it more efficiently.

Way to go!!! I am very happy for you! Isn't it amazing the feel good you get from accomplishing something for the first time and getting paid for it on top of it! You go girl and keep that feel good for yourself going; you made me smile.
