New Cougar Mats

New Cougar Mats

Postby Suzan » August 19th, 2011, 11:53 am

These mats are so awesome. When you get yours don't be fooled by how un-tacky they feel. I received the large mat and I cut it down to fit my cougar. I used a utility knife and even that cut like a dream. Then I went to cut on the new mat. My paper stuck perfectly. To touch they feel like they is hardly anything there, but do they stick well Yes they do. I have been cutting with one for 2 weeks now, and late last night I was cutting my project for the blog hop this weekend, and I was really tired, and didn't want to get a new mat out. Even though I thought my mat needed cleaning or re-sticking. Nope, it still cut perfectly and the paper was great. Came off really easy with out a spatula. Plus if you didn't know we have four cats that are just fascinated with my cougar and mats. Mudgies loves to bat at the mat while cutting and of course Emily always feels she has to plop her big furry body on the mat when I am done with it. Are you ready for this. There was a little very little bit of hair. But nothing like it would have been with either the old mats or a cricut mat. These mats are worth 10 times the money they cost.

Thanks Suzan.
I have to say that that credit goes to Sherri, she spent a long time working with the company to get the adhesive just right.

Absolutely Suzan - we are the ones who continue to benefit from all of the efforts of Dawn and Sherri - and Tyler too. What a terrific team and it's just going to get better and more exciting. We are all so fortunate - really.

Thank you all!

Penny an enabler??? Surely you jest!! :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:

I am guilty of having the fabric blade and not using it :( But I just found a cool template for a fabric flower and thought those would be fun to make - so may just give it a try!

Hey - have you guys seen Tyler's new video on the mats?? It's awesome and OH SO CLEVER!

I loved that video for the mats... his videos are getting better and better... he does such a great job!!! I really am going to have to get some extra mats soon.. and will probably get the new blade holder. Not having to use a CD to get it to the right height will be so nice. And while I'm at it, I will probably get the tables as well... will look much nicer than what I'm using now.
