You want to laugh???

You an all do it at my expense.

Last night I took my pain medication (percocet) for my tooth and went to bed. My husband was awaken by me. HE SAID that I was talking in my sleep, nothing new for me. Here is how the conversation went:

Me:alksfjklsjfajf
Mark: honey, wake up
Me: flsjdfajdfljdf gibberish
Mark: honeybun... wake up
Me: alsfj;lasjfdajsf more gibberish
Mark: shakes my shoulder... you gonna wake up the kids and the dog is upset (she is racing around the room by now)
Me: jfajfklajffajdlfj..... the flys are going up my nose.....sjflsajflsdj more gibberish
Mark: snickers...
Me: djflasjfjsf.... hold your breath and pinch your nose....aldjflasdjfljsd
Mark: full out laughing....
Me: adsljflka;sjdflk.... Mark, your an idiot, you can't swat flys with a mirror.... dlfjal;sfjkalsdjfla;f
Mark: Honey.... I got the flys...it's okay now
Me: lasfjlajflsjfkl ....swatting my nose..... the flies are still going up my nose....adsljflalj
Mark: still laughing
Me: I wake up po'd because I was finally able to get some sleep and he is shaking the bed and laughing loudly.

I still don't believe his story.

Thans for the laugh this morning!! And the reminder that I don't want to take painkillers. I think I am allergic to them anyways. The last time I took one I couldn't sleep and I itched all over like crazy. But now I'm scared that if I do take a painlkiller, I will sleep and talk in my sleep and give DH ammo on me. For years I've been teasing DH about his "episode" of Bugs Bunny (his favorite cartoon) taking his (DH's) picutre.

My daughter was in the ER several years ago, sufferering from "Montezuma's Revenge" and they had given her pain meds to calm her severe cramping. She looked at my sister and me and asked, "Why is there a pony over there?" My sister and I laughed so hard at her! And we kept egging her on so she would say weird things!

You aren't alone Dana, when I was in college. Someone walked into my dorm room, and my roomate and I were having a conversation in our sleep. This was during finals, and we were past exhaustion. It was mostly gibberish, but everyone thought it was hysterical.

Thanks for the laugh. Tell him to record it next time! When my FIL was in the hospital, he told us the Oakridge boys were in his room and later he saw them get into a car and drive away!

Funny! Don't you just hate that when they wake you in the middle of a good sleep though! Poor Biscuit! I can just picture her all concerned about you.
I used to do some weird talking without the meds! My sister used to try to keep me talking, but the joke was on her because I would switch to french and although I went through elementary in a full french class, she did not and couldn't understand, lol. DS takes after me and will often have interesting conversations with us when he is asleep.

Dana, hope the appointment at the dentists is going well and that the pain will soon be behind you!

So sorry you were woke up but funny!! My sister used to talk in er sleep too and one night right before Christmas she was "talking" to my cousin (who wasn't even there) and told her exactly what she got me for Christmas. I just listened of course...lol. I was glad she didn't make something up because I really liked what she got me...lol.

OMG this is funny. I remember back in the day when my ex and I were first married he was talking in his sleep (no meds) but his car was out of gas (I know no big deal right?) till he said it was on top of the Washington Monument. I laughed so hard I woke the whole house up

Well no more flies bothering me at night! I'm finally got a good night sleep and my mouth is much much better, just feels bruised now and the stitches and drainage holes are healing.

THank you so much for the prayers and thoughts! I missed you all. One week until the kids start school and then I will be more readily available! YEAH!
