Profleonie wrote:All that fur reminds of my Alaska trip this summer. After brushing the Huskies, a local woman would take all the fur, sterilize it, and weave it into yarn - don't ask me how. So now I am the proud owner of a Husky fur headband, which is great for me since I get terrible hat head (so vain I know). Your dogs are so sweet!

The last time Panda lost fur like this we sent it off to the Gulf to sop up oil

Aw poor Merlin!!! Dawn - I know how you feel. When our Dane was a puppy, she would chew on one of my shoes, never the other one. Got a new pair and there goes one. I thought I would have to beat her with the shoes and then some. She finally quit!!!

That is funny about the Husky headband. My son had a husky and the first time I heard him say she is "blowing her winter coat" I had NO idea what he meant until I saw her during the middle of the process - I have never seen so much fur in all my life! And he lives in southern CA so it's not like she really "needs" the winter coat - but I guess they grow it regardless!

Great idea for the unused table! Your dog is totally adorable!
