Possibly print and cut with the embossing tool or a "dry" pen?

The only thing I would add is to be sure the mortar lines are on a separate layer and then emboss just that layer. I would suggest print and cut as well......

Hard to be sure without seeing it - but in my head it makes sense! :banghead: :hide:

Hey Gigi, thats what I thought I would have to do. Draw the mortar lines .... then emboss them onto the paper to make the brick ..... Just wanted to check with those of you who are more know more about the SB than I do. Thanks again!

If you are using the registration marks to add your embossing (debossing) might be kinda cool to add gray morter with a silver sharpie in the pen tool after you emboss. Might be too shiny though....

Cool idea - and you got me to thinking. You could run a versamark marker (clear) over the lines and then sprinkle with embossing powder and heat emboss for some added texture - or as an alternative to embossing. Lots of fun things to try! :)
