print and cut issue-RESOLVED

I have been doing a ton of print and cut very successfully. Today I cannot get my image to print. and for the life of me i do not see what I am missing!!!!
I created the file in inkscape like i usually do. I exported it as a bitmap. which is what I usually do.
I used place image in scal and made sure my lines said print cut print. When I print, I only get the registration marks. It is driving me nuts! The file will print in inkscape. I know I must have overlooked something!!!
I have attached the file here, if anyone cares to look at it for me.
I am using scal 4 pro 4.022

Can you attach the SVG? Did you trace the images? You didn't mention that part......

I just looked at the image and a lot of the flowers have open areas on the petals so they wont do a good blackout trace..... At least that is how it appears to me.....

I do have the svg. It's on my computer. I'm on the ipad right now. I just can't get the image to print!!! I have done this many many times, so not sure where the issue is. Lol

Hey Denise.... dlhill....I downloaded and imported it quickly into SCAL4 Pro and looked in each layer...the digi image isn't there.... so I also opened it in Inkscape and there is no digi there either....I'm wondering.....did you embed the image into Inkscape???? If you didn't this may be your problem.....just a thought to try.....

Hi Penny. I traced the image in inkscape. then exported it as a bitmap. So the option to embed didnt come up like it does when I import an image into inkscape. The images show up on my scal screen, they just dont print! I made a ton of print and cut tags last week and they worked fine. Not sure where i have gone wrong this time lol I think its time to scrap this project. I was just going to make some quick flowers for some cards!!!!

Gotcha....I think the reason I'm not seeing the image...is because I don't have the image on my computer.....so that's what I ask if it was imbeded in Inkscape....May I ask why you traced the imaged then saved as a bitmap???? If it was an image already all you would need to do is do a bucket fill in Inkscape for it to do the outside trace of the shape....I hope that makes sense....here's an old video I did eons ago explaining that.....

Or do a Trace Image in SCAL4......I hope I'm not confusing you or irritating you...I'm not for a moment suggesting you don't know what you're doing...so PLEASE forgive me if I'm off base....

I got it lol. I didn't need to export this one as a bitmap. I just saved it as an svg and changed it to print cut print in scal. Last week I made little bow ties filled with digital paper. I tried just saving them as svg files, but scal couldn't open them. It locked up my program every time. So I did export them as a bitmap, and it worked fine. But I did embed the image. This was soooo much simpler, I should have realized that would work fine, but that's me! I always make things harder than I need too. Thanks for all your patience and help. I appreciate it very much!!!!
