Has anyone used a USB to serial cable with their silver bullet cutter? Our silver bullet cutter usb connector has come loose and does not make a good connection. I bought a USB to serial cable. Connected it to the Mac Book and fired up the silver bullet, but it never cuts. I could really use some help with this, thank you in advance.

You may be having a communication error. Be sure the port you have it connected to is the one that is receiving the connection.

The only reason for the usb connector to come loose is if you are unplugging and plugging in the machine a lot - not a criticism - just a reason for the connection to loosen and the only reason we have documented for this issue. If the entire connection system is loose (unlikely) then the motherboard would need to be replaced. But hopefully you can get the serial connection to work by checking the port connections.
