Cutting beveled edges

Cutting beveled edges

Postby Teeg » January 6th, 2016, 10:14 am

I first heard about Black Cat cutters years ago when I was making some vinyl wall art, and for years, it's been on my crafting dream list.

Now, I'm opening up an art gallery. I'm looking for a product that will allow me to quickly cut mat boards with beveled edges. In the videos I've seen, it looks like the Black Cat Cougar can handle mat board fairly easily, but the cuts I saw were all straight edged, so I'm wondering if it's possible to make a beveled cut with any of the Silver Bullet professional cutters?

beveled cuts are not possible with this machine. Also, if you're looking to cut 4-ply matboard (traditional depth of the media), that depth is a bit out of specs for the machine. I generally cut 2 ply when I have it.
