Help! My machine is just over a year old and all of the sudden it is not recognizing that the Silver Bullet is directly connected to the Mac through the USB port. I have tried the suggested turning off and unplugging cords and also the reset of the machine and zero luck. Any ideas? It was working fine one day and then intermittently the next and now nothing. Hoping someone else has been through this can offer some advice.

You mentioned Mac not sure if this will work or not.
But I would try the following...
1. rebooting computer - I know that macs have a feature where it will shut off the usb port if it feels it's drawing too much power..etc
2. try using another USB cord
3. Plug USB directly into the computer (no hub) ensure that they are both securely in the computer and the machine
