Usually when the blade cuts through when it is moving from one place to another, your blade is too low. If your mat is bowed at all, that could be the problem. You could be setting the height correctly, but if the mat isn't sitting flat, the media could be raised in areas and catching the paper.
Be sure your blade holder is securely in the clamp and isn't slipping. And there is always the chance of an errant node creating a cutting line you don't see, but my first guess would be that the blade is too low - as that is the results we see.
