CorelDraw Files

Hello, I have used CorelDraw to create my files when using my Pazzels cutter now that that i have purchased the SB-13 can i use those files in the Sure Cuts software? if so do they need to be changed or can they be used as is by importing them?? Thank you

I just looked in my scal and it doesn't have the cdr format. But I know there is a plug in to cut directly from Corel to SCAL. I have it, but I haven't been able to get it to work. But I am super new to Corel. If it doesn't work, you can always export as a SVG and import that to SCAL to cut.

As Suzan said, you can go to the SCAL website and download the plug in. http://www.craftedge.com/download/download_extras.html It's the third section down. I couldn't get it to work initially either, Suzan, but now it works beautifully. I just send straight to SCAL. But saving as an svg and then opening SCAL and importing works well - it's just an extra step.

Love that there are so many ways to reach the result we want!

Did it just start working on it's own. Gigi. Or did you do something, and Are you using SCal or SCAL Pro.

That's a good question - I think I installed it a second time. I hadn't tried for awhile!

I have SCAL Pro. And I was looking for it in the wrong place. It's under application launcher. It's the little icon which on my screen is under the Bitmaps heading. It's the second icon to the left of the zoom percentage. Looks like a little screen with a red ^ underneath. I would be happy to do a screen capture if you can't find it........

No I have it, but I get an error every time I u se it and just haven't had time to email Brandon and ask what I am doing wrong. But thank you.

Hmmm - strange. I wonder if there is something different in Corel Draw 6 . I don't have problems in 4 or 5. Maybe he needs to tweak it a little??
