usb 3.0

Is anyone running their silver bullet on Windows 8 AND using the 3.0 connection?

I have been helping a new user with the installation, everything is loading correctly, but it is not communicating when sent from the computer to the cutter.

She has also emailed Brandon to see if he has any thoughts. I am stumped and just talked to Sherri and we are wondering if it could be the 3.0. I don't want to tell her to buy a new cord if that is not the answer.

Mine won't run properly unless I hook it to a USB 2.0 port on the back of my computer. It wouldn't run right even hooked to a hub.
Hubby taught me a trick, 3.0 usb are blue and 2.0 aren't so see if she has a 2.0 port.

I am 95% certain it is the usb 3 port. Does she not have a usb 2 anywhere on the computer?

Well that didn't fix it - she had already tried that.

She is going to go buy a new cord tomorrow and see if that helps - that was one of my first thoughts but was hoping I could find another solution. She read online that it solved the problem with similar situations so my fingers are crossed. Will let you know!
