I have cut 1mm thick plastic, I know you can cut more. It depends on what you want to cut. There are some factors that are involved. If it is chip board or mat board, it will depend on the brand because it is made so many different ways. Some have a lot of fibers and lots of glue. Tyler has the best on the market. He chose it specifically because it cuts so well on these machines. I know you can cut acrylic, and some forms of metal. I know there are more online that have way more experience than I do and will be able to give you a broader answer.

The max that can fit under the header box of the machine is slightly less than 1 cm and can cut a variety of material depending on what it is there is a 60degree plus long blade for thick materials and you would need to cut at slower speed and multiple passes. again depends on the material in which you plan to cut. I have cut 3mm so far .
Helping where I can when I can. Using a 24" Silver Bullet Pro and also have a 18" Cougar
It really depends on the material that you are cutting and its density rather than just its thickness. While something up to 1cm can fit in the machine, you likely wouldn't be able to cut it. Some foam is pretty thick and it cuts nicely if you have a long enough blade (60 degree plus blade). Some metals, though very thin, are so dense and hard...
So really, each material is different in the thickness that can be cut.
VERY good point Tyler...like the Wendy Vecchi ART Parts material......WOWZERS...there's NO CUTTING that stuff...it is super super SUPER dense!!!!!! I even used my dremel tool AFTER I had made 25 passes with the 60 degree long shaft blade.....and it was eaten up with the dremel!!! LOL
Hello. Thank you for your answers. I want to cut rubber cork with 4 mm with a 60 degrees blade longer. So I have to lift the blade holder so that the cork fits beneath the box of the head and then adjust the blade height. After, I test the number of passages until I can cut the rubber...Right? Thanks.
Correct. However you will need to cut face down as the top surface will probably be damaged by the blade shaft pushing it apart as it cuts (because of the thickness)
Hey Retta.....Yeah...I got in touch with Wendy Vecchi....she was hoping I too could get it to cut.........I've never seen a medium that is as tough as that stuff........I understand now why it MUST be laser cut....I had never seen it before...
